HOW IT WORKS
Community
We partner with local churches, libraries, schools, and community centers to provide academic support in reading, math, and homework assistance to students in grades K-5. Our mission is to bridge learning gaps for students who struggle while also challenging and supporting those who excel. These partnerships allow us to reach more families in need and ensure that every child has access to the academic and emotional support they deserve.
By working hand in hand with trusted community organizations, RunSong Generation helps create a network of care that strengthens not only individual students, but the entire community. Confidence in learning not only improves classroom performance but also reduces the risk of school disengagement and dropouts later in life.
Academic Support
and Nutrition
Each child in our program is individually evaluated to identify their unique learning needs. Our team uses engaging activities, creative strategies, and proven “tips and tricks” to help students catch up academically and thrive alongside their classmates.
We also recognize that consistent attendance and focus are difficult when basic needs aren’t met. Many of the children we serve rely on school meals as their primary source of food. To ensure no child goes hungry, RunSong Generation provides nutritious meals and snacks each day. This not only supports physical well-being but also encourages students to attend regularly and remain energized and ready to learn.
Incentive and Encouragement Program
To keep students motivated and engaged, RunSong Generation utilizes an incentive system that rewards consistency and good behavior. We want every child to feel excited to attend each day and take pride in their progress.
Throughout the program, students can individually and collectively earn or lose value towards a reward they will receive upon completion of the program, based on their choices. This teaches them personal responsibility and accountability to each other in a way that’s both fun and meaningful.
