Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)-integrated arts and academic programs that bridge learning gaps for students who struggle, while also challenging and supporting those who excel. We strive to build young people’s confidence and help them reclaim their narratives through meaningful engagement in the arts and academics.
About RunSong Generation
RunSong Generation was founded from lived experience, resilience, and the transformative power of the arts. Our work is found by Gabrielle Solange — a Bermudian-American Billboard charting music artist, keynote speaker, and podcast host born in Ohio. Known for her electrifying, genre-fluid performances and vulnerable storytelling, Gabrielle connects with diverse audiences across the U.S. and abroad. But her journey did not begin on a stage.
A former runaway raised in the foster care system, Gabrielle credits her faith and the inner-city youth arts programs of Columbus with providing the tools, mentorship, and opportunities that helped her recognize her self-worth and purpose. Those programs were more than extracurricular activities — they were lifelines. RunSong Generation exists to be that lifeline for the next generation.

PROGRAMS

We partner with local churches, libraries, schools, and community centers to provide academic support in reading, math, and homework assistance to students in grades K-5. Our mission is to bridge learning gaps for students who struggle while also challenging and supporting those who excel. These partnerships allow us to reach more families in need and ensure that every child has access to the academic and emotional support they deserve.
